MELOTHYST 7.5 tablets is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties. It is used for Short-Term Symptomatic Treatment of Exacerbations of Osteoarthrosis and Long-Term Symtomatic Treatment of Rheumatoid or Ankylosing Spondylitis.

COMPOSITION

Each uncoated tablet contains:

Meloxicam BP …………..7.5 mg

Excipients……………...  Q.S


         Oral 

DOSAGE

As directed by the physician. 

SIDE EFFECT

•    Anaemia

•    Hypersensitivity, allergic reaction

•    Headache, Dizziness

•    Somnolence

•    vertigo

•    Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation






PRECAUTION

Undesirable effects may be minimised by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to control symptoms. The recommended maximum daily dose should not be exceeded in case of insufficient therapeutic effect nor should an additional NSAID be added to the therapy because this may increase the toxicity while therapeutic advantages has not been proven
