EREMOL-FP Suspension is used for the management of mild to moderate pain and inflammation

in conditions such as headache, including migraine, post-operative pain, dental pain,

musculoskeletal and joint disorders, peri-articular disorders and soft tissue disorders (sprains and

strains). It also reduces fever.

EREMOL-FP Suspension contains Ibuprofen and Paracetamol, two pain relievers and fever reducers. It is used to treat mild to moderate pain, inflammation,

and fever in children, commonly for conditions like teething, cold, flu, and minor injuries. Ibuprofen helps reduce inflammation, while Paracetamol effectively controls fever and pain.

The suspension formulation is easy to administer for children. Side effects may include stomach upset or mild allergic reactions.


COMPOSITION

Each 5 ml contains:

Ibuprofen BP ………..100 mg

Paracetamol BP ……….162.5 mg

In a flavoured syrup base Q.S.

Colour: Tartrazine Yellow Supra

Oral

DOSAGE

As directed by the physician.

SIDE EFFECT

·         Thrombocytopenia, neutropenia

·         Hypersensitivity such as anaphylactic shock

·         Rash, erythema

·         Peptic ulcer

·         Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea

·         Oedema

 





PRECAUTION

Hepatotoxicity may occur with paracetamol even at therapeutic doses, after short treatment

duration and in patients without pre-existing liver dysfunction.

If symptoms or signs of Stevens-Johnson syndrome and Toxic epidermal necrolysis occur,

patients should immediately stop ibuprofen and paracetamol suspension treatment and seek

medical advice. Caution is advised in patients with underlying sensitivity to aspirin and/or to

non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
