NASAL SALINE DROP

This product is used to treat dryness inside the nose (nasal passages). It helps add moisture inside the nose to dissolve and soften thick or crusty mucus. In babies and young children with stuffy noses who cannot blow their noses, using this product helps to make the mucus easier to remove with a nasal bulb syringe. This helps relieve stuffiness and makes breathing easier. This product contains a purified gentle salt solution (also called saline or sodium chloride solution). It does not contain any medication.


COMPOSITION

Sodium Chloride BP 0.9%w/v

Benzalkonium chloride solution BP 0.02%w/v

Water for Injection BP q.s

Method of administration: Nasal drop

DOSAGE

Adult and children: 2 Drops/Nostril as needed

Infants: Use drop application; 1-2 drops each nostril with gentle bulb syringe suction to extract mucus.


SIDE EFFECT

Saline Nasal drop is not expected to cause any undesirable effects in normal use.





PRECAUTION

Do not use unless the product is clear and the pack intact. Discard any surplus after use. Medicine is for external use only and as directed by physician.




PRESENTATION

Nasal saline drop is available in 10 ml white HDPE dropper bottle with nozzle & cap.
